President- Kenneth V. Breglio

Ken currently serves as President of BP Elevator company, which was established in 1981. Ken began his career in the elevator industry in 1969 with Knudson Elevator. He joined the ECNY board in 1999 and was elected Treasurer in 2000 and vice president in 2006. Ken was the 2003 recipient of the Francis B. Riley Award for outstanding service to the ECNY.




Vice President- Bobby Defrancesco

Bobby started his career in the electrical supply end, in June of 1982 he opened Central Elevator & Electrical Supply Company selling exclusively to elevator industry. In 1997 he sold Central to Benefield Electric and remains as President. He continues to sell all elevator products, supplies and cable to the North East region. Bobby’s achievements have been many and his involvement in the industry is intense, NAEC Board Member from 1993 to 1997. NAEC Convention Exhibit Chairman for 10 years including the World Expo Chairman for 2 years. 2001 awarded the NAEC prestigious “Presidents Award.” 2003 Bobby received “Man of the Year” award from NY Pop Frohlinger Golf Outing. ENCY Board Member from 1997 to today. Chairman of ECNY dinner dance from 1997 to today.




Treasurer- Andrea Magaziner

Andrea presently employed by G.A.L Manufactoring inc. Bronx, NY. She began her career at Elevator Products Corporation, and held a variety of positions in accounting, human resources, sales, and served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing until she joined the O.Thompson Company in 2002. Andrea was elected to the NAEC Board of Directors in 1999, and served as that organizations' Treasurer in 2000 and 2001. Elected to the ECNY's board in 2003 and treasurer in 2006, Andrea currently chairs the finance committee, and is a member of the website committee.




Secretary- Douglas Gilman

Doug is currently President of Elite Elevator Cab Remodeling, Inc. which was established in 1979. Doug began in the elevator industry at Parkline in 1977. He is a co-committee chair of the annual Pop Joe Golf Outing which benefits the EESF. Doug was elected to the ECNY Board in 2005 and currently chairs the Planning Committee.




Director- Jack Morgan

Jack Morgan currently serves as the president of Morgan Elevator Company Ltd., established in 1973 by Jack and his late father, John. The company is a member of Local 3. Jack is a licensed elevator inspector and Director. Jack was elected to the ECNY Board in 2005. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the JEO and the JATC. He is a member of EIA and he has been a member of the NEAC since 1989. He is involved with his town’s local Boys Club of America.




Director- James Duffy

Jim currently serves as President of Richmond Elevator, which was established in 1990. Jim began his career in the elevator industry in 1971 with Mainco Elevator. He joined the ECNY board in 2000 as Secretary to fulfill a vacancy and then sat as Secretary until 2003. Jim has been involved with the following Committees, ECNY Technical Presentations 2001-2003, DOB Elevator Advisory Committee 2001-2003, DOB Elevator Code Committee 2003 – Present, ECNY DOB Committee 2004- Present, ECNY Web site Committee 2004-Present.




Director- Nicholas J. Montesano

Nick is currently the president of DTM, he began his career in 1979 as an apprentice for Millar Elevator Industries. Nick was elected to the ECNY board in 2003. He chairs the ECNY membership committee. Nick also serves as Treasurer of the Elevator and Escalator Safety foundation. Nick is very active in the NAEC and the NAVTP-past President and charter member. Nick is a licensed QEIS elevator inspector.




Director- Robert Cuzzi

Rob joined VDA in 1998 as Manager of Operations, after serving as Operations Manager of PS Marcato Elevator Company since 1992. He is a mechanical engineer and licensed QEI elevator inspector, with past experience in construction and transportation. After joining the ECNY board in 2003, he was elected Secretary in 2004, is involved in code and technical seminars, and active in the industry.




Director- Thomas Markunas

Tom began his career at New York City Transit as a Helper in 1981. Over the years he has received many promotions and is currently a Superintendent in the Elevator & Escalator Department. He is a QEI certified elevator inspector.
